Tyler always knows what will make a story better, whether it’s a big-picture adjustment or a small grammatical fix. There was something off with my story, but I couldn’t figure out what. Right off the bat, they pinpointed the very thing I did not have a vocabulary to recognize for myself as the problem, and the suggested change resolved my inhibitions about the piece. Also, the fact that they are a writer has definitely attuned them to the sensitivities and terror of trusting others with your work, so they are really accommodating about delivering critique respectfully.
